Recently I discovered we have explored less of oceans than we have explored the space It started with a small, dangerous question: how deep does it actually go? Several late nights and one mild jellyfish obsession later, this whole descent exists.
By day I build and design things for the internet. By night I fall down trenches the Wikipedia kind and, evidently, the 10,994-metre kind reading about creatures that glow in the dark and single cells the size of my hand. But there are also concerns, We are destroying an ecology and biodeversity which we don't yet realize runs this world. They are the source code bro.
I write about the ocean, curiosity, and the occasional existential thought a 30-metre animal hands you for free. If any of that is your kind of weird, come say hi.
